PSG presents new MAK Process C Process Cooler at ACHEMA 2022<\/p>\n<\/div>

ACHEMA 2022 begins with the presentation of a special solution for PSG from Germany: a new generation of sample gas coolers goes into series production – just in time for the opening of the most important trade fair in the process industry ACHEMA in Frankfurt. The new MAK Process C series was designed in a modular way to be able to cope with an efficient cooling capacity at very high flow rates and at the same time large water concentrations. Especially in safety-related applications such as monitoring O2 in H2 in H2 electrolysis or in inerting-processes, the safe and stable cooling of the sample gas, even at higher flow rates, plays an important role to keep the T90 time of the overall system as short as possible. PSG is now providing the answer to these requirements. For the company PSG (short for PerfectSampleGas), which specializes in the development and production of product solutions for the sampling, transport and conditioning, i.e. also drying, of gases, the launch of the new product range is a particular success: “We are very pleased to have expanded our range of solutions for process coolers with the MAK Process C<\/a> and thus to be able to provide a powerful solution for the rapidly growing market for hydrogen applications,” comments Managing Director Thorsten Reisinger on the market launch. It is particularly interesting that established and mature components could be combined in an innovative structure during development, which leads to a special performance: With a flow rate of up to 500 l\/h at a relative humidity of up to 40%, the cooler also delivers under extreme conditions, a low and constant outlet dew point, which is crucial for the measurement quality, especially in electrolysis applications due to the H2O cross-sensitivity on WLD analyzers. These results are achieved through a highly efficient stainless steel heat exchanger and a cooling cycle control that responds quickly to changing conditions. The new solution is rounded off by an additional temperature sensor that outputs the cooling block temperature as a signal in accordance with the SIL standard. “The MAK Process Cooler is the beginning of a new generation of sample gas coolers and can already be viewed fully integrated on our new www.perfectsamplegas.de<\/a> homepage,” says Kai Herrmann<\/a> , Sales Engineer responsible for the product.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
